The two guys on the right named, Allen and Charles, who originally were from 24th and Whipple in Little Village started a set of Gaylords on 18th and Western around 67-68. This section wore the colors of Black and Brown, like the Gaylord section in Sherman Park. In the mid-70s, 18th and Western broke up with the remaining members joining the Two-Six gang. This picture was taken in 1968 or 1969.
The 18th and Western Gaylords had a section in Pilsen from the 1960s until the early 1970s. They sent representatives of their set to United Fighting Organization (UFO) meetings at Saint Sylvesters Church rectory located in Logan Square at Palmer Street and California. The 18th Street and Western Guys showed up wearing Fedora hats with blue feathers.
There were Gaylords on Oakley Street, between 21st and 26th Streets, during the sixties.
